Diclofenac diethylamine and menthol, both non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), inhibit the production of inflammatory mediators responsible for pain and associated swelling and redness. Linseed oil, a botanical extract, possesses anti-inflammatory properties, enhances local circulation, and facilitates the dermal absorption of diclofenac diethylamine. Methyl salicylate imparts a localized cooling sensation.
