This medication works by stabilizing blood clots to reduce excessive menstrual flow and by inhibiting the production of pain and inflammation-causing substances. Dosage is flexible, taken with or without food, but consistency (same time daily) is recommended, ideally starting on the first day of menstruation for optimal results. Continue the prescribed regimen as directed. If a dose is missed, take it immediately upon recall. Complete the full course, even with symptom improvement. Report to your physician if menstrual flow doesn't improve after three cycles. Common side effects include nausea, abdominal discomfort, headache, nasal congestion, sinusitis, skin rash, fatigue, and musculoskeletal pain. Diarrhea is also possible; increased fluid intake is advisable to prevent dehydration. Consult your doctor if no improvement is seen after three consecutive menstrual periods. How Tranlok-M Tablet works:

Tranlok-M tablets contain Tranexamic Acid and Mefenamic Acid, two active ingredients working synergistically. Mefenamic Acid, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), alleviates pain and inflammation by suppressing prostaglandin synthesis, the chemical mediators responsible for these symptoms.

What if you forget to take Tranlok-M Tablet :

Should you forget a Tranlok-M Tablet dose, take it immediately. If your next dose is imminent, however, omit the missed dose and resume your usual regimen. Never take a double dose.
