Ulcer-V Gel combines the actions of Choline Salicylate, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and Lidocaine, a local anesthetic. Choline Salicylate reduces pain and inflammation by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, inflammatory chemical mediators. Lidocaine numbs the affected area by interrupting nerve transmission of pain signals to the brain, thus lessening pain perception.
