Overview Vexicold Plus Tablet

Combiflu Plus tablets offer symptomatic relief from the common cold. This medication temporarily alleviates nasal congestion and manages allergy symptoms such as rhinorrhea and ocular discharge. Combiflu Plus should be ingested with or without food, following the dosage and regimen prescribed by your physician. Dosage is individualized based on your health status and response. Continue the prescribed course of treatment; premature discontinuation may lead to symptom recurrence and condition exacerbation. Inform your doctor about all concurrent medications, as interactions are possible. Common adverse effects include nausea, diarrhea, emesis, xerostomia, insomnia, akathisia, lassitude, and cephalalgia. Most are transient and self-limiting. Report any concerning side effects immediately to your doctor. Drowsiness and vertigo may occur; avoid operating machinery or engaging in activities requiring alertness until the effects are known. Alcohol consumption should be avoided due to potential exacerbation of dizziness. Prior to commencing treatment, disclose any hepatic or renal impairments for appropriate dose adjustment. Pregnancy, pregnancy planning, or breastfeeding should also be reported to your physician. Note: Combiflu Plus is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age, as per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

FAQs on Vexicold Plus Tablet

Vexicold Plus Tablet combines caffeine, cetirizine, nimesulide, paracetamol, and phenylephrine to alleviate common cold symptoms such as body aches, headache, fatigue, fever, watery eyes, sneezing, cough, sore throat, and nasal congestion.
Breastfeeding while taking Vexicold Plus Tablets is not recommended. The medication contains cetirizine, an antihistamine that can transfer to breast milk and potentially harm your baby. If prescribed Vexicold Plus, be sure to tell your doctor you are breastfeeding.
Vexicold Plus Tablets, containing Paracetamol and Nimesulide, can harm the liver, particularly at higher than recommended doses. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication to minimize liver damage risk. Patients with pre-existing liver conditions should avoid this medication. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms of liver damage, such as fever, rash, appetite loss, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, abdominal pain, dark urine, jaundice (yellow skin or eyes), or abnormal liver enzyme levels.
Vexicold Plus Tablets contain caffeine; therefore, it's best to avoid other caffeine sources. This includes coffee, tea, cola, and chocolate, as excessive caffeine can disrupt sleep, cause tremors, or chest discomfort. Alcohol consumption should also be avoided while using this medication.
Vexicold Plus Tablets may cause drowsiness or sleepiness, potentially affecting your ability to perform daily tasks. Refrain from driving, operating machinery, working at heights, or engaging in hazardous activities until you understand the medication's effects on you. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience allergic reactions, skin rash or peeling, mouth sores, breathing difficulties, unusual bleeding, recurring fever or infections, vision problems, or rapid or irregular heartbeat. While uncommon, these side effects require prompt medical care.
Increasing the dosage beyond what's recommended won't necessarily improve results; it could lead to severe side effects and toxicity. If your symptoms worsen despite taking the prescribed dose, consult your doctor for further assessment.
